George...
Then one day, unexpectedly, another freshman at LFC, a preppy
from the East coast, came down the hall with a guitar in his
hand. "Want to play?" George Potts said.
Immediately it was clear that his guitar playing blended
perfectly with Mitch's and his amazing ability to sing harmony
brought the sound to a whole new level. He also added some
terrific new original songs (Julia, Almost Had Someone My
Own).
Their style might have been influenced by Crosby, Stills
and Nash, but their own sound was quickly developing. Almost
every week a new song was written.
After about 12 seconds of thought, they called themselves
Triad (hey it was 1969).
